10/21/15 - Spanish-turned-English music sensation Marc Anthony proved the reason he’s one of the driving forces behind the Latin genre and culture in America today. He and Carlos Vives put on an incredible show in Houston at the Toyota Center on Friday. In fact, one fan in attendance even called the icon “the Latino Frank Sinatra” of this generation. Anthony and Vives dazzled with hits like “Valio La Pena,” “Vivir Lo Nuestro,” and covers including “Abrazame Muy Fuerte” by Juan Gabriel. 9/16/15 - Latin music icon Marc Anthony has just announced a brand new tour to kick off in North America starting later this month. He will start at Moison Amphitheater in Toronto, ON on Wednesday, September 23 and perform alongside fellow Latin music star Carlos Vives. Tickets to the kickoff show start at $78 and are already limited in quantity. Anthony will then work his way down to the U.S. and perform at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL on Friday, September 25. The 15-city tour kicks off Aug 29 in San Diego and will run through Glendale, Concord, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Boston and Fairfax before closing out in Hidalgo on Dec 14. Many of the salsa king's dates are located in Texas, with five stops (Laredo, El Paso, Houston, San Antonio, Hidalgo); the cheapest date in the Lone Star state is San Antonio on 9/28 for a $66 minimum. The top selling tropical salsa artist of all time will kick off the US leg with back-to-back performances in Miami at the American Airlines Arena. Two shows are also planned in Los Angeles at Nokia Theatre LA Live to finish the tour September 28 and 29.
