Taylor Swift Tour News and Updates
1989 World Tour 2015
10/23/15 - Taylor Swift is always in the headlines, and this week was no exception. She finally took to the tabloids to address a long-standing issue regarding former best friend Katy Perry. Many fans and critics think Swift wrote the song “Bad Blood” about her falling out with Perry, however the singer came forward saying she never wrote the song about one specific person. In fact, it was inspired by breakups with ex-boyfriends rather than her “frenemy” Katy Perry. Whether you believe her or not, be sure to catch Swift live at her next show this Saturday, October 24, at Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA. Tickets currently start as low as $19.
10/13/15 - Breakup rumors are swirling this week, and Taylor Swift and boyfriend Calvin Harris are at the center of all the drama. While it remains to be seen if there is any truth behind the gossip, Taylor has a lot more to think about! She has been nominated in six categories for the 2015 American Music Awards. She has picked up more nods than any other artists, including her pal Ed Sheeran, who got five nominations. Taylor is finishing up her “1989” world tour this month, so be sure to get your tickets for one of the last few concerts! $113 is all you need to get you into the show on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Arlington, Texas.
10/8/15 - Is Taylor Swift thinking of taking some time off after her tour is over? She recently hinted that she thinks “people might need a break” from seeing her in the spotlight for a while. Some speculate that this means that she’ll take some time to relax when the “1989” tour ends at the end of the month. This means that you better take your chance to see her live in concert now! She is scheduled to perform at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska this Friday night (Oct. 9). Check out her show; it will be one that you won’t soon forget. A few tickets are still available with prices starting at $195.
10/2/15 - Country turned pop songstress Taylor Swift is known for many things, but did you know that one of those things could be a baseball curse? That’s right. Some superstitious baseball fans have noticed a pattern. Each time Swift makes an appearance at one of their stadiums, the home team typically goes on to ruin their record. This has been true with the Houston Astros as well as the Washington Nationals, who were in first place and set to win their divisions before Swift took the stage only to send both teams on epic losing streaks. The pattern has Toronto Blue Jays fans nervous – she will perform at Rogers Centre tonight and tomorrow night.
9/25/15 - There aren’t many who can say they beat out the likes of One Direction, AC/DC and the Foo Fighters for this fall’s hottest tour, but Taylor Swift can say it loud and proud! Coming off a hot summer concert season, her success is in part due to her wildly successful album, 1989. This weekend, she will be visiting the beautiful city of Nashville, Tennessee, to do a couple shows at the Bridgestone Arena. Get tickets for the Friday (Sept. 25) show for $360 and up or you could see her on Saturday for the starting price of $350. Those shows will feature opening acts Vance Joy and Haim, but if you prefer a night of all Taylor, plan to see her on Monday, Sept. 28, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the Scottrade Center.
9/17/15 - Taylor Swift is no stranger to drama, whether it is welcome or not. Rumors have been flying this week that Swift is “obsessed” with beating her archrival Katy Perry on the charts. According to tabloids, Swift is desperate to have more singles reach number one than her former friend. Beyond that, it seems R&B star Rihanna may also have some bad blood with the pop princess. When asked if Rihanna would ever consider joining Swift’s troupe, the Barbadian was quick to say no, citing a difference in brand. Swift may not have Rihanna in her corner, but she’s sure to have thousands of cheering fans at her next show this Friday at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH. Tickets are extremely limited and start at $29.
9/11/15 - Her fans already know how powerful she is, but now magazines are catching wind too. Vanity Fair recently named Taylor Swift number one on their annual “Powers That Be” rankings. Swift beat out an impressive array of public figure to nab the top spot, including presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. She also beat out frenemy, rapper, artiest, and prospective presidential candidate Kanye West, which is not an easy feat. Do not miss your chance to see the newly crowned most powerful woman in the world at her next show this Friday. She will perform at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN at 7:30 p.m. with opening act Vance Joy. Tickets are selling quickly but are currently available for as little as $90 and up.
9/1/15 - There aren’t many artists who can draw more attention than Taylor Swift, and the debut of her latest music video proves it. “Wildest Dreams” was released just two days ago and has already been viewed over ten million times! The video, which was partly filmed in Africa, is full of beautiful scenery and features the romantic tone that Swift fans can’t get enough of. This Friday, Sept. 4, Taylor will be at the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you procrastinated and don’t have tickets yet, you are in luck! We have a few left for sale with prices starting at $331. On Saturday (Sept. 5), she will travel to Denver for a concert at the Pepsi Center. Tickets start at $236 and go up from there.
8/28/15 - Taylor Swift loves surprising her fans in the most amazing ways, and that could not have been truer at her most recent show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Known for her long list of celebrity friends, you can almost expect a high profile cameo or two at her shows. Her latest show did not disappoint, as not one but two of her famous friends joined her on stage. The cheers of the crowd went supersonic as both Selena Gomez and Justin Timberlake each took their turn performing alongside Swift. You never know what she’ll do next, so don’t miss her upcoming show this Saturday at Petco Park in San Diego, CA. Tickets are selling quickly and currently start at as little as $48.
8/21/15 - Taylor Swift is truly a champion for good causes, and one in particular has hit home recently. After recently sharing that her mother was diagnosed with cancer, she decided to pay tribute to another woman’s struggle at a recent concert. Maya Thompson lost her son to neuroblastoma several years ago, and after hearing about her story, Taylor was moved to write “Ronan,” which she has performed publically only twice. The first time was at a Stand Up to Cancer benefit concert, and she sang it again just a couple nights ago when Thompson was in the audience at her Arizona concert. Taylor is now in Los Angeles, and will be performing at the staples Center during the next seven days. Tickets for any of the remaining five shows at the venue are available now!
8/7/15 - Taylor Swift is showing a little more of her sexy side on the cover of September’s Vanity Fair magazine. Dressed in a little black dress with a slit coming up to her thigh, wearing sparkly jewelry with flawless hair and makeup (like always), the look is daring and a bit different from her typical look. In the article, she talks about how important her relationships with her friends are and also gushes a bit about her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, whom she serenaded at a recent concert in Dublin. Taylor will now travel to Seattle, Washington, for a concert on Saturday, Aug. 8 at Century Link Field. The large venue is selling out fast, but we still have some tickets available for purchase. Get yours today for $118 and up.
7/31/15 - As leading pop lady Taylor Swift continues along her hugely successful 1989 World Tour, the songstress is rumored to have another exciting gig in the works. According to alleged reports, she may be planning to get married to her DJ beau, Calvin Harris. News outlets say that the pair is planning to be engaged soon and, if so, that Swift refuses to sign a prenuptial agreement. She reportedly finds the notion extremely “unromantic” and says that signing a prenup is like giving up before you have even started. Although family and staff think she should reconsider, as Harris is worth about half of Swift’s $200 million fortune, she doesn’t appear to be budging any time soon. Swift’s next show is this Saturday at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.
7/24/15 - It can be tough to pull your eyes away from the magnetic Taylor Swift—just ask NHL Stanley Cup Champion Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks. Former coach Denis Savard related a story recently –alongside Kane, who corroborated the account—from the latter’s rookie season. The young Kane was said to have been so distracted in-game by a pair of young blondes in the front row that he let through a scoring opportunity, prompting frustration from Savard. Who were the mystery ladies? One of them turned out to be a hit-maker by the name of Taylor Swift. The Blackhawks went on to win it all that season, so maybe she’s considered a good luck charm in Chicago. She’ll be in Massachusetts this weekend before heading to Vancouver for an August 1st performance. Get your tickets now from $123!
7/17/15 - Taylor Swift has added two unexpected members to her squad: Ian McKellan and Sir Patrick Stewart! The actors each recently recited some of her lyrics and posted the video to social media, causing a mashup of geek and pop culture that really works! In response to the videos, Taylor made a collage of McKellan and Stewart and posted it to Twitter, telling them “you’ve made my day.” Who will she add to her squad next? You can find out live in person from the pop star, as she is in the middle of her “1989” world tour. This Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, she will be performing at Soldier Field in Chicago. Tickets are available, but quantity is limited. Prices start at $130.
7/10/15 - Taylor Swift has very nearly worked her way back down from Canada. The next United States leg of her 2015 tour is about to begin. Starting on July 15, she will begin in East Rutherford, New Jersey and gradually work her way west. If you live in the DC area, this may be your last chance to catch her live. Tickets for her final show in Washington DC, which will be on July 14th, are currently still available starting at $176. If you are in the Midwest, Taylor Swift is coming your way, so get your tickets now. She will be playing in Chicago before spending another short leg in Canada. There are plenty of opportunities to see Taylor Swift perform before the tour ends in October.
7/3/15 - Taylor Swift is one of the busiest and most successful, if not most successful, music artists today. She definitely isn’t slowing down while being on one of the biggest tours this summer. The 1989 World Tour kicked off in Japan on May 5 and spans from North America to Europe and wraps up in Australia near the end of 2015. She is currently traveling the cities of Canada and soon will be making her way down to the US. Her first US concert will be held on July 10 at the Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Tickets start at $148 a piece and are worth every penny. Don’t miss your chance to see her live along with Vance Joy, Shawn Mendes and Haim as they hit the stage this summer.
6/26/15 - Fans of pop darling Taylor Swift can breathe easy. She recently announced that in spite of last week’s events, she is going to allow her album 1989 to be available for streaming on Apple’s new music service, which launches on June 30. Swift had previously removed her album, the best selling record of 2014, from the service after being displeased with Apple’s policy not to pay artists royalties during subscribers’ free three-month initial trial period. Apple listened, and is now agreeing to pay artists 0.2 cents for every song of theirs played for free. Swift calls this a tremendous win for artists, and only goes to prove her prowess in the industry. Her 1989 World Tour kicks off in less than three weeks in Ottawa, ON.
6/19/15 - It seems pop princess Taylor Swift is turning major heads with her news music video for “Bad Blood,” which included an impressive number of cameos from her famous friends. In fact, now the queen of pop seems to want in on the action. It’s reported that Madonna is now releasing her own celebrity-cast music video for her song “Bitch I’m Madonna.” While some might think Taylor would be upset about being copycatted, she actually couldn’t be more thrilled. Swift calls it the ultimate compliment, and can’t wait to see what Madonna will turn out for her own star-studded music video. In the meantime, Swifties are patiently waiting for the 1989 World Tour to kick off in North America. The first show is scheduled for July 6 in Ottawa, Ontario.
6/12/15 - Taylor Swift has made a name for herself in the music business, but she is talented at a lot of things, including baking. She recently shared via Twitter that her favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe “was a real turning point in my life.” The recipe came from Anne Burrell, a well-known chef and star on the Food Network, who responded to Taylor by telling her what a big fan she is, and inviting her to make cookies together anytime. The pop star probably doesn’t have too much time for baking these days, however, as she is currently in the middle of her “1989 World Tour.” This Friday and Saturday she will be on stage at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tickets are on sale now starting at $113.
6/5/15 - Between her hot new music video for “Bad Blood” and her massively successful 1989 World Tour that is selling out in cities around the world, leading pop songstress Taylor Swift is getting a lot of attention these days. While she loves the support and admiration of her friends, family, and fans, other sources of publicity are less appreciated. Swift recently opened up about why she has been photographed walking backwards in recent shots. She confessed to a fan that she does it in order to avoid the paparazzi, because they can’t make any money for the photos if they don’t see her face. Unfortunately for Swift, the smart ploy may have backfired. The photos of her walking backwards went viral as soon as they were posted online.
5/29/15 - All eyes are on Taylor Swift these days, so it’s not surprising that even a lunch date with a new beau (Calvin Harris, if you haven’t heard) is news. The pair was spotted at an NYC restaurant along with fellow artist and pal, Ed Sheeran. Sporting a white crop top and black overalls, Taylor was a more casual version of her always-flawless self. In the midst of her huge “1989 World Tour,” it’s good to see her taking some time with those she loves! Catch her this weekend for a Saturday concert in Detroit, Michigan, when the Ford Field venue will welcome the star along with her droves of fans for a fun night of live music. We have a limited quantity of tickets available, so be sure to buy yours today! Prices start at $129.
5/15/15 - Country pop crossover success story Taylor Swift is less than a day away from kicking off her long awaited 1989 World Tour in North America, courtesy of an appearance at the Rock in Rio USA festival in Las Vegas, NV. The superstar recently wrapped up her latest series of shows in Japan and was spotted in Santa Monica, CA this week enjoying time with her boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris. Swift joins a decorated list of musicians to perform at the annual Rock in Rio festival, including Ed Sheeran, Echosmith, and many others. Tickets to the weekend-long event are limited but are still available in varying prices. Taylor will formally launch her 1989 tour on May 20 with opener Vance Joy on May 20 in Bossier City, LA.
5/6/15 - Giving a shout out to her ever-loyal fans on Monday night, Taylor Swift announced that her “1989 World Tour” has officially begun! She made the announcement via Twitter while in Japan, where the tour is starting, and told her followers “I love you. I love you. I love you.” She has always been gracious with her fans, and it seems it will be no different this time around. When you purchase tickets to see Taylor perform, don’t be surprised if you spot other famous faces such as Selena Gomez in the audience—even the stars can’t get enough of her! Attendees also get a special bracelet that lights up at one point in the performance! Purchase your tickets for the May 20 show in Bossier City, Lousiana for $212.
5/1/15 - May is finally here, and that means leading pop songstress Taylor Swift is just weeks away from kicking off the North American leg of her long awaited 1989 World Tour. Swift, who is currently on tour in Tokyo, recently proved just how much she cares for her fans. On Wednesday, Swift personally called one of her 12-year-old fans who is battling cancer and made her dream come true in doing so. The pair talked for about 10 minutes and discussed everything from music to cancer, including the fan’s favorite song “Shake It Off.” While Swift may not be able to individually chitchat with every one of her fans, she proved just how compassionate she is and how much she loves her supporters in her phone call on Wednesday.
4/24/15 - Pop princess went back to her roots on Sunday night, when she stopped by the Academy of Country Music Awards held in Dallas. Although she crossed over to pop from country music a long time ago, Swift clearly still holds the hearts of country fans everywhere. In fact, she was present at the ceremonies to receive the honors of Milestone Award. Even better was that Swift’s mother Andrea Swift was the one to present her daughter with the prestigious award. She also managed to stick in a funny story about Swift’s humble roots, saying she would shut herself away in her room in angst and emerge with a beautiful song. One of those just so happened to be her hit single from 2008, “Love Story.”
4/17/15 - Less than a month remains until Taylor Swift hits the road for the “1989 World Tour.” As one of the most successful and talented singers in modern music history, it is not surprising that she has also become a one of the most awarded. She recently received yet another tremendous honor, as Time magazine named her one of the most 100 influential people of 2015. She made the eclectic list along with other well-known names such as Pope Francis, President Obama, Bradley Cooper and Kim Kardashian. We still have a limited number of tickets available for her upcoming concert dates, and you definitely don’t want to miss your chance to see her live! Purchase yours today for the Rock In Rio USA music festival on May 15-16 in Las Vegas for $226.
4/8/15 - The 2015 Billboard Music Awards Nominations have just been announced, and it should come as no surprise that pop icon Taylor Swift leads the pack along with British crooner Sam Smith. The pair were nominated for every published category except for ones delegated to the opposite gender. Swift and Smith are both nominated for the highly coveted awards for Top Artist, Top Male/Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, and Billboard Top 100 Song. There are still 36 additional categories, which will be released later this week. Swift reinvented herself as a pop star after her beginnings as a country artist. She sold over 1.3 million copies of her album, 1989, in just one week. Come catch the Pop Princess in concert when her 1989 World Tour kicks off this summer.
4/3/15 - As if the anticipation weren’t already high enough for Taylor Swift and her 1989 World Tour that starts later this spring, the country pop crossover star raised the stakes even higher last Sunday at the iHeartRadio Awards. Swift went home with three of the night’s biggest awards. She won artist of the year, song of the year for her hit single “Shake It Off,” and best lyrics for “Blank Space.” Swift was also part of a high profile duet that night, assisting Madonna on the guitar while she sang a stripped down version of “Rebel Heart.” Upon accepting one of her awards, Swift reminded fans everywhere just how much she appreciates and adores them. Come show Swift some love when her 1989 World Tour kicks off in May.
3/27/15 - Taylor Swift may be a pop princess, but she recently proved she’s not just a figurehead. The solo artist well known for politicizing music by removing her albums from the streaming service, Spotify, just made another strategic move. Fans can now listen to all of her music, except for her latest album 1989, on Tidal, a new streaming service owned by rapper Jay Z. Unlike Spotify, Tidal is a premium service that requires payment every month. Swift justified the move in her firm stance that musicians should receive appropriate compensation for their music as they see fit, rather than what is dictated by a third party streaming service. Come experience Swift’s music the best way possible, live in concert, when her tour kicks off in May.
3/20/15 - It seems pop hit maker Taylor Swift has found an unexpected super fan. The Outsider himself, Eric Church, recently admitted to the press that he is totally smitten with Swift’s new album, 1989, and went on to rave about her talents. Church sites a love for exploring new musical directions, which is something he admires about Swift. Many country music fans feel differently, abandoning Swift when she crossed over to pursue pop music. Church on the other hand thinks it was a great decision professionally, because it makes people wonder what she will do next. You can find out what Swift has in store next for yourself when her highly anticipated 1989 Tour with Vance Joy kicks off at the CenturyLInk Center in Bossier City, LA on May 20.
3/12/15 - The pop crossover force known as Taylor Swift recently proved just how seriously she takes her work. Swift confirmed to various news outlets this week that she plans to protect the longevity of her career by insuring two of her most prized assets: her legs. The country musician turned pop star is insuring her legs to the tune of $40 million, and in doing so joins a long list of celebrities who have insured their best assets. The policy means that if Swift were ever to injure her legs in a way that prohibited her from performing, she would not have to worry about losing her livelihood. You can catch Taylor Swift and her freshly insured legs live in action when her 1989 World Tour kicks off in Louisiana on May 20.
3/4/15 - Fans of country songstress turned pop hit maker Taylor Swift just got some great news. They’ll no longer have to wait until May 20 to see her 1989 World Tour kick off, as the songstress just announced she will start the show a few days ahead of schedule on May 15 at the Rock in Rio USA festival. You can catch her live in action on the second weekend of the event, where she will perform alongside fellow musicians Ed Sheeran, Echosmith, and many more. It all takes place at the City of Rock in Las Vegas, NV. Consider it a warm up for the main event, when the North American leg of her world tour kicks off in Bossier City, LA later in the month.
2/27/15 - Taylor Swift wrote the opening track of her 1989 album upon moving to NYC in 2014. “Welcome to New York” demonstrates the nervousness and excitement that the singer experienced as she took on a brand new life in the Big Apple. A few months ago, Swift announced that she would be donating all of the proceeds from that song to public schools in NYC. That has resulted in an initial donation of $50,000, and there is certainly more to come. Her generous nature is no secret, but this act just makes people love her even more. You can support Taylor by purchasing tickets to her “1989” worldwide tour, which begins its North American leg in May. Get your seats for the May 22 show in Baton Rouge, LA for $57.
2/20/15 - Taylor Swift showed off her cute personality and sense of humor in a surprise appearance on The Tonight Show recently. She stopped by the set and reminisced with Jimmy about times they danced together at sporting events in the past. In a bit they called “Jumbotron Dancing,” the pair did their best impersonations of how people act when they realize they’re on the big screen at a big sporting arena, including throwing their popcorn and cotton candy up in the air and doing some crazy dance moves, such as the robot. You can have some fun of your own with Taylor as she starts the U.S. leg of her “1989” tour on May 20 at the Century Link Century in LA. Tickets are available on Razorgator for $156.
2/12/15 - Taylor Swift is known for being especially kind to her fans, and she showed that generosity at Sunday’s Grammy Awards. Knowing that one of her fans would be in attendance, Swift took the time to hunt the young girl down, invite her backstage, and even took some pictures with her. Swift, who looked stunning in a blue gown and purple heels, enjoyed the night by dancing in the aisles as the various performers took the stage. She will be headlining another arena tour this year in support of her latest album, 1989. After a stretch overseas, she will start the North American leg in May. In many cities including Chicago, Philadelphia, and Washington DC, she will give performances two nights in a row. Catch her in our nation’s capital on July 13 for $111.
2/4/15 - Taylor Swift is gracing the cover of this month’s issue of People Magazine, and looks absolutely flawless. In the article inside, she speaks about her favorite patterns and colors for the upcoming warmer weather. When she’s not busy being on the cover of magazines or promoting her new album, 1989, she is preparing for her upcoming world tour. She recently announced on her website that HAIM, a group of three sisters that has received wide critical acclaim and commercial success, will be joining her as an opening act for select dates. Catch Taylor and Haim on July 10 and 11 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Razorgator has tickets for just $106, which is a great price to see such a popular and talented artist perform live.
1/30/15 - As one of the most popular names in modern-day pop culture, Taylor Swift is no stranger to the spotlight. She is beloved by fans young and old, but is not immune to the negative effects of the media attention. Following a recent Twitter hack, the star responded with grace and a sense of humor, saying “hackers gonna hack,” a play on her hit song “Shake it Off.” She is taking her immense talent to the stage, making stops in major cities across the entire world. The “1989” tour will commence in the United States in May. Razorgator has tickets available for purchase now, with prices varying by city and venue. Come see Taylor, along with opener Vance Joy in LA on May 20, 2015 for just $157.
1/22/15 - Taylor Swift may have released her latest album, 1989, just 12 weeks ago, but it has already surpassed the four million sales mark, making this her fastest selling album to date. The popularity of the record has hits such as “Shake it Off” to thank for its success. The song is not only playing heavily on radio stations, but is also causing a stir on the Internet. Videos featuring babies, police officers, and others lip-synching to the upbeat and catchy tune have gone viral on sites such as YouTube. You can catch Taylor on her worldwide tour beginning in May, but before that she will headline the Rock in Rio festival on May 15. The event will be held in Las Vegas at the City of Rock venue. Tickets can be purchased for that show now for $338, but are selling out quickly.
1/16/15 - Back in December, Taylor Swift took the time to wrap and send holiday presents to some of her biggest fans. Apparently, she is not done with her generosity. Recently, Taylor sent a check for $1,989 to Rebekah Bortniker, who was chosen for being such a dedicated fan. The check, which is an obvious reference to her new album, 1989, is meant to help Rebekah with her student loans. She responded with a tear-filled unpacking video wherein she read the message attached to the gift. "I think you're so beautiful and positive, even though you're dealing with the stress life brings, so I wanted to make you something." Included with the check was also a necklace and a painting that the singer painted herself. Taylor's 1989 album tour will begin in May.
1/9/15 - Taylor Swift’s second huge hit from the ‘1989’ album after ‘Shake It Off’ is ‘Blank Space,’ which skyrocketed to the top of the charts. Its success was definitely aided by the song’s stunning music video that features Taylor acting the part of a crazy girlfriend in a number of elaborate sets and gowns. After seven weeks as number one, ‘Blank Space’ was surpassed by the song ‘Uptown Funk!’, which is credited to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. But the song’s fall from number one is not an indication that Taylor’s reign is over. Although “Frozen” was the iconic cinematic experience of 2014, Taylor Swift was able to outsell the movie’s soundtrack by a narrow margin to earn ‘1989’ the title of the best-selling album of the year. Tickets for her 2015 tour are on sale now through Razorgator.
1/2/15 - 2014 was a huge year for Taylor Swift, and 2015 promises to be even bigger. After the overwhelmingly successful release of her new album 1989 on Oct. 27, Taylor has steadily gained supporters across the world. Not only her music, but also her style, her personality, and her generosity attract people towards her. She has a fiercely loyal fan base, and as evidenced by her recent actions, Taylor is loyal to them in return. For the holidays, she handpicked some of her biggest fans through social media and bought them Christmas presents based on online information that she gathered. She then wrapped and sent the gifts to her supporters, and even visited one in person for a very merry “Swiftmas” celebration. You can see the giving Taylor Swift and Vance Joy in concert on her 1989 tour in a city near you.
12/26/14 - Hard work and talent may have launched Taylor Swift to superstardom, but her honest lyrics and relatable personality have kept her accessible to her fans. The award winning artist recently announced on her website that the Grammy Museum in downtown LA would be opening The Taylor Swift Experience, an exhibit dedicated to the celebrity. The showcase opened on December 13, 2014, which was also her 25th birthday. Those who visit the museum will catch glimpses of the real Taylor through photos, clothes, hand-written lyrics, and other special items that belonged to her. The singer-songwriter is currently preparing for another world tour, which will begin in May 2015 at the Century Link Center in Louisiana. She recently announced that a June 29, 2015 concert for fans in Dublin had been added to the original schedule.
12/19/14 - Taylor Swift continues to dominate the radio waves. Her latest release “Blank Space” is now in its fifth week as the number one song on the Hot 100 Billboard. Top-spot longevity is becoming the norm for Swift: her prior song “Shake It Off” spent four weeks heading the chart. “Blank Space” also spent six weeks atop the Digital Songs list with 249,000 downloads to date. Swift ruled the roost for three weeks in 2012 with the hit “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” When it starts getting warmer outside, Swift will be heating up stages across the U.S. Her 1989 tour begins in May and will continue throughout the summer. She will be joined by Vance Joy and Shawn Mendes. Tickets are now available and start as low as $38.
12/12/14 - Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour is set to kick off May with performances slated in major cities across the nation. Swift made a risky decision switching into the pop genre, which has clearly paid off for the young singer and songwriter. She has now taken the Billboard Woman of the Year esteemed title for a second year. The newly transitioned pop singer took the title back in 2012 and again this year in 2014. Her tour will feature hits such as "Welcome to New York," that was recently performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, as well as "Shake it Off" which steadily climbed the charts until it landed at No. 1.
