2/3/14 - He may be returning as a judge on American Idol this season, but that doesn’t mean Keith Urban is quitting his day job. The country superstar wrapped up the third North American leg on his “Light the Fuse” Tour on Feb 1, and if you haven’t already heard, this tour was not one to miss—but don’t worry Urban fanatics! After an Australian sojourn, Keith will be back in the states this June – September for one last shot to see him live. This explosive extension will kickoff in Darien Center, NY on Jun 25, and run through Cincinnati, Raleigh, Hartford, Salt Lake City and Irvine, before ending in Wheatland, CA Sep 7. Urban has been known to offer tons of fan-interaction, and even stays late to sign autographs and take pictures on this high-octane excursion, so don't miss out. Keith Urban 2013 Light the Fuse Tour
Keith Urban announced the third leg for his “Light The Fuse” tour, adding 11 shows to his schedule. Urban will be joined by other Country greats on his final leg: Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch in the U.S. and Brett Eldredge in Canada.
Having spent the last year known more for judging music, Keith Urban will spend the rest of 2013 performing. It is currently unknown if Urban will be the lone returning American Idol judge following the recent departures of Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj. However, fans will have a chance to see the Australian singer live at one of the 45 shows on his “Light the Fuse 2013” tour. The tour begins on 7/18 at Riverbend Amphitheatre in Cincinnati. Urban will play music from his upcoming album Fuse, scheduled for release on 9/10.
The average price for Light the Fuse tickets is $148. The most expensive show of the tour is on 11/24 at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio and is averaging $315. With an average price of just $66, the 8/24 show at the Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, Ohio is the least expensive. Urban will also perform on 9/20 at the third annual iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Fellow performers on Day 1 of the festival include Elton John, Katy Perry, Fun., Muse, and Tiesto. The Light the Fuse Tour concludes on 12/8 at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, in time for Urban’s possible return to judge Season 13 of American Idol starting 1/13.
