In honor of the fact that Garth Brooks has resumed his epic tour, here are a few fun facts about the country music star that you may not be aware of! First, did you know that Garth is his middle name? Troyal is his actual first name and is his father’s name as well. Brooks also happens to be an excellent athlete; before his career in country music, he dreamed of playing baseball in the Big Leagues! Lastly, in July of 2013, Garth became a grandpa for the first time! His granddaughter’s name is Karalynn. Now that you know Garth a little better, join him this weekend in Louisville, Kentucky for a stint of shows at the KFC Yum Center. Ticket prices start at $56.

Country legend Garth Brooks is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in music history, but did you know that his wife, Trisha Yearwood, is a star in her own right? In fact, Mrs. Brooks is set to star as the Virgin Mary in The Passion, a live TV musical event. She credits her husband with preparing her for the daunting role, praising him for his unwavering support during the process. As for Mr. Brooks, he’ll be preparing to hit the stage with his leading lady when they continue their joint tour this Friday, February 12 at North Charleston Arena in Charleston, SC. Tickets are still available for prices starting as $84.

Fans have been waiting for a long time for country crooners Garth Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood, who are currently on tour together, to create a duets record. That dream may now be coming to fruition. The pair was reportedly working on a Christmas collaboration album during the holidays, meaning it could be released in late 2016. We can only speculate, but in the meantime you can catch this dynamic duo on tour together through the spring. Their next two shows are this Saturday, January 30 at 7 and 10:30 PM at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD. Tickets are limited for both shows, so grab yours now before they’re gone!

Country music fans in Maryland are keeping their fingers crossed that severe weather won’t stand between Garth Brooks and his first concerts in the state in nearly two decades. Brooks is scheduled to perform in Baltimore this Friday and Saturday (Jan. 22 and 23) at the Royal Farms Arena, but a huge winter storm will also be passing through. Fans who plan to attend either of these shows should be extra careful traveling to and from the venue. For those who waited until the last minute to get tickets, we still have a few starting at $62. If you can’t make it this weekend, you’ll be happy to know that Brooks will also be in town next weekend to perform on Jan. 29 and 30.
