Eric Church 2015 Tour
3/23/15 - There were a record-breaking 18,626 people at the Allstate Arena in Chicago last Friday night to see country music sensation Eric Church perform live. That’s an impressive accomplishment, especially when you consider that just ten years ago, he was a virtual unknown. The fans, who drank over 55 gallons of whiskey, along with the star of the stage partied together late into the night, as the set lasted a whopping 2.5 hours and included an impressive 27 songs. There are still over 25 tour dates left on the schedule, so those who haven’t yet had the pleasure to see him live have still have a chance to do so. This Friday, he’ll be at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL. Ticket prices start at $71.
3/5/15 - It is hard to imagine how Eric Church could possibly add more to his schedule, but jugging work, life, and leisure seems to come naturally to the country music star. He will soon be able to add the title of radio mogul to his resume, as SiriusXM announced that he will be hosting a monthly program that they are calling Outsiders Radio. The show explores Church’s career, influences, and never before heard tracks from his archives. Fans will also get to hear two songs from his album The Outsiders that were never released. You can catch each episode on the last Friday of each month. Amidst this new project, he will continue on his tour this month, making his next stop on Tuesday at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. We have your tickets starting at $28.
2/24/15 - Self-proclaimed outsider and country music star Eric Church has just over a week to go until his Outsiders Tour continues in Houston, TX, but he will surely have his hands full in the meantime. Church and his wife, Katherine, welcomed a baby boy to their growing family last week. This is the pair’s second son. They reportedly named him Tennessee Hawkins and plan to call him “Hawk,” a fitting name for any child of country music. Church and his wife also have a three-year-old son named Boone McCoy. Church admits that parenthood has changed him, saying he suppresses old habits for the prosperity of his family. He’ll also be the first to tell you that his dark side hasn’t gone anywhere; he simply uses it to protect his family now. You can catch the Outsider himself live on tour across the country through August.
2/17/15 - With just over two weeks to go until Eric Church, the Outsider himself, resumes his Outsiders World Tour in Houston, TX, his friend and opening act Dwight Yoakam recently talked to the Rolling Stone about the possibility of doing a duet with Church. According to the country music pioneer, he would have loved for the two to play “The Last Time,” a Rolling Stones hit. Yoakam said that while the pair talked about it and fans surely would love for it to happen, Church is a little daunted by Yoakam’s last collaboration on the song. In 1995, Yoakam performed “The Last Time” with musical legend Tom Jones. Although he’s a star in his own right, Church just isn’t comfortable recreating an already iconic duet. Whether you agree or disagree with their decision, don’t miss your chance to see the pair live on tour.
2/10/15 - Country music star Eric Church took a break from his Outsiders tour to visit the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday. Although he went home empty handed, Church received nominations for several awards including Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Give Me Back My Hometown,” as well as Best Country Album for The Outsiders and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his collaboration with Keith Urban on “Raise ‘Em Up.” It was a busy night for Church, who also performed at the awards show. He sang a mellow version of “Give Me Back My Hometown” without his signature chest thumping, opting instead to showcase his vocal range. After a brief hiatus, Church will resume his Outsiders tour on March 3 at the Houston Rodeo. Tickets are still available for upcoming shows right here on Razorgator.
2/5/15 - Country music star and self-proclaimed Outsider Eric Church did not disappoint fans in Salt Lake City, UT last Saturday. Earlier in the week, several of Church’s band members fell ill with the stomach flu just before the show at EnergySolutions Arena. Without his drummer, set builder, or lighting technician, many fans feared the show would be cancelled altogether. Instead, Church stepped up to the plate and not only rescheduled another show in Salt Lake City later this year, he also treated fans a one-of-a-kind experience on Saturday night. He played the entire show on acoustic guitar, all by himself saying simply, “The show must go on.” The next stop on Church’s tour is the SAP Center in San Jose, CA on Thursday night. Drummer or no drummer, you can expect Church to deliver an amazing performance.
1/26/15 - Country superstar Eric Church delighted crowds at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday night. This stop on his Outsiders 2015 tour was as Springsteen-esque as anyone could have hoped for. Church led into his chart topping tribute song, “Springsteen,” with “These Boots” and a stripped down cover of “Born in the U.S.A.” The audience erupted into cheers as Church talked about how Bruce Springsteen and his music changed his life forever. The night wasn’t just about influences, of course. Church also performed “The Outsiders,” “Drink In my Hand,” and “Guys Like Me” from behind a pair of dark sunglasses. The next stop on Church’s tour is at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. There are still a select number of tickets available through Razorgator, so be sure to book yours before they’re gone!
1/23/15 - Country music star Eric Church doesn’t mind being an outsider in the industry, which isn’t surprising considering that his latest album aptly entitled The Outsiders debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. He proved that on Sunday at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA, when he performed much more than his own songs and even his own genre. Church covered Ballbreaker by rockers AC/DC and also referenced eclectic musical influences like Bruce Springsteen and Merle Haggard. According to Church, listening to Springsteen made him realize “how melody sounds like a memory” and made him want to be a musician. Eric Church is all grown up with a moving repertoire of his own now. Ticket prices and availability for his 2015 tour vary by location.

This success follows the recent announcement that his latest album, The Outsiders, has reached Platinum status, having sold more than one million copies worldwide.
