Eric Church 2015 Tour

3/23/15 - There were a record-breaking 18,626 people at the Allstate Arena in Chicago last Friday night to see country music sensation Eric Church perform live. That’s an impressive accomplishment, especially when you consider that just ten years ago, he was a virtual unknown. The fans, who drank over 55 gallons of whiskey, along with the star of the stage partied together late into the night, as the set lasted a whopping 2.5 hours and included an impressive 27 songs. There are still over 25 tour dates left on the schedule, so those who haven’t yet had the pleasure to see him live have still have a chance to do so. This Friday, he’ll be at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL. Ticket prices start at $71.

3/5/15 - It is hard to imagine how Eric Church could possibly add more to his schedule, but jugging work, life, and leisure seems to come naturally to the country music star. He will soon be able to add the title of radio mogul to his resume, as SiriusXM announced that he will be hosting a monthly program that they are calling Outsiders Radio. The show explores Church’s career, influences, and never before heard tracks from his archives. Fans will also get to hear two songs from his album The Outsiders that were never released. You can catch each episode on the last Friday of each month. Amidst this new project, he will continue on his tour this month, making his next stop on Tuesday at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. We have your tickets starting at $28.

2/24/15 - Self-proclaimed outsider and country music star Eric Church has just over a week to go until his Outsiders Tour continues in Houston, TX, but he will surely have his hands full in the meantime. Church and his wife, Katherine, welcomed a baby boy to their growing family last week. This is the pair’s second son. They reportedly named him Tennessee Hawkins and plan to call him “Hawk,” a fitting name for any child of country music. Church and his wife also have a three-year-old son named Boone McCoy. Church admits that parenthood has changed him, saying he suppresses old habits for the prosperity of his family. He’ll also be the first to tell you that his dark side hasn’t gone anywhere; he simply uses it to protect his family now. You can catch the Outsider himself live on tour across the country through August.

2/17/15 - With just over two weeks to go until Eric Church, the Outsider himself, resumes his Outsiders World Tour in Houston, TX, his friend and opening act Dwight Yoakam recently talked to the Rolling Stone about the possibility of doing a duet with Church. According to the country music pioneer, he would have loved for the two to play “The Last Time,” a Rolling Stones hit. Yoakam said that while the pair talked about it and fans surely would love for it to happen, Church is a little daunted by Yoakam’s last collaboration on the song. In 1995, Yoakam performed “The Last Time” with musical legend Tom Jones. Although he’s a star in his own right, Church just isn’t comfortable recreating an already iconic duet. Whether you agree or disagree with their decision, don’t miss your chance to see the pair live on tour.

2/10/15 - Country music star Eric Church took a break from his Outsiders tour to visit the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday. Although he went home empty handed, Church received nominations for several awards including Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Give Me Back My Hometown,” as well as Best Country Album for The Outsiders and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his collaboration with Keith Urban on “Raise ‘Em Up.” It was a busy night for Church, who also performed at the awards show. He sang a mellow version of “Give Me Back My Hometown” without his signature chest thumping, opting instead to showcase his vocal range. After a brief hiatus, Church will resume his Outsiders tour on March 3 at the Houston Rodeo. Tickets are still available for upcoming shows right here on Razorgator.

2/5/15 - Country music star and self-proclaimed Outsider Eric Church did not disappoint fans in Salt Lake City, UT last Saturday. Earlier in the week, several of Church’s band members fell ill with the stomach flu just before the show at EnergySolutions Arena. Without his drummer, set builder, or lighting technician, many fans feared the show would be cancelled altogether. Instead, Church stepped up to the plate and not only rescheduled another show in Salt Lake City later this year, he also treated fans a one-of-a-kind experience on Saturday night. He played the entire show on acoustic guitar, all by himself saying simply, “The show must go on.” The next stop on Church’s tour is the SAP Center in San Jose, CA on Thursday night. Drummer or no drummer, you can expect Church to deliver an amazing performance.

1/26/15 - Country superstar Eric Church delighted crowds at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday night. This stop on his Outsiders 2015 tour was as Springsteen-esque as anyone could have hoped for. Church led into his chart topping tribute song, “Springsteen,” with “These Boots” and a stripped down cover of “Born in the U.S.A.” The audience erupted into cheers as Church talked about how Bruce Springsteen and his music changed his life forever. The night wasn’t just about influences, of course. Church also performed “The Outsiders,” “Drink In my Hand,” and “Guys Like Me” from behind a pair of dark sunglasses. The next stop on Church’s tour is at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. There are still a select number of tickets available through Razorgator, so be sure to book yours before they’re gone!

1/23/15 - Country music star Eric Church doesn’t mind being an outsider in the industry, which isn’t surprising considering that his latest album aptly entitled The Outsiders debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. He proved that on Sunday at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA, when he performed much more than his own songs and even his own genre. Church covered Ballbreaker by rockers AC/DC and also referenced eclectic musical influences like Bruce Springsteen and Merle Haggard. According to Church, listening to Springsteen made him realize “how melody sounds like a memory” and made him want to be a musician. Eric Church is all grown up with a moving repertoire of his own now. Ticket prices and availability for his 2015 tour vary by location.

1/14/15 - Country singer Eric Church has been in the music business all his life, starting at the age of 13 when he bought himself a guitar and began writing music. While his sound definitely mirrors that of his outlaw country predecessors such as Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Jr., and Waylon Jennings, he has definitely come into his own as an artist. After having two albums take the number one spot on the charts, and touring with some of the most famous stars in country music, Church has embarked on his own headlining arena tour. Last week he was on stage in Nashville and New Orleans, and is scheduled to perform two shows in Las Vegas on Jan. 16 and 17 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Ticket prices start at $75.

1/7/15 - In a remarkably short time, Eric Church went from being a name that no one had heard, to the headliner of a tour that is selling out across the country. The star is commonly labeled a country singer, but he says that music is music and that the lines between genres are often blurry. His own music blends country sounds with heavy metal and Americana, and he remarked in an interview that Taylor Swift’s new pop album ‘1989’ is brilliant even though she has departed from her country roots. No matter what one calls the ‘Outsiders’ album, it is a bold and exciting collection of songs. Eric Church will be performing hits from the album in Nashville, Tennessee on Jan. 10, and you can get your tickets starting at $142.

12/30/14 - The list of bona fide country stars in this day and age is not a very long one, but Eric Church has earned himself a spot in this exclusive group. With a growing fan base, Church recently shared some personal information that delighted his followers and allowed them to get to know him better. On Christmas, he and his wife carried out their family tradition of sharing an emotional Christmas story at the breakfast table with their son about the spirit of the holiday. Church also brings emotion to the stage while he performs, and tickets for his 2015 Outsiders tour are selling fast. Get your tickets now to see Eric Church perform hits from his latest album, which has gone platinum. The tour launches on Jan. 8 in New Orleans, where you can secure a spot in the audience starting at $39.

12/24/14 - With the recent announcement of the 2015 Grammy nominees, country music performer Eric Church may have to put away the aviator sunglasses and trucker hats that he is famous for in favor of a suit and tie. He is nominated for four of the prestigious awards: best country solo performance, best country song, best country album, and best country duo/group performance. This success follows the recent announcement that his latest album, The Outsiders, has reached Platinum status, having sold more than one million copies worldwide. The singer is currently on a solo tour that is scheduled to end February 5th at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. He will then take the stage with country music legend Kenny Chesney for a summertime tour. Tickets for all upcoming shows are available for purchase now.

12/16/14 - While he was once an opening act for country icons Rascal Flatts, Eric Church has since become a worldwide country music superstar in his own right, packing stadiums and securing an array of awards as he continues his quest to dominate the modern-day country music scene. From party anthems like “Drink in My Hand” to a glimpse at his deeper side through tracks like “Springsteen,” Church continues to make his mark among country and mainstream music fans alike. His most recent music video, “Talladega,” further explores his softer side, and his upcoming “Outsiders” world tour will give fans a chance to get up close and personal with their country music king. Ticket prices vary by venue, but secure yours today for this can’t-miss country concert experience.

12/10/14 - American country music singer and songwriter Eric Church is pulling on quite a few heartstrings with a poignant and touching tribute to life in a new music video for his song “Talladega.” The video is receiving high praise for its depiction of an elderly man reminiscing about his life as he lays ill in a hospital bed before his impending death. Both the song and video have received critical acclaim for its powerful empathic storytelling and passion for family and humanity. When not making music videos, another priority of the singer is embarking on the second leg of “The Outsiders” World Tour, which continues its run into 2015. Some of the stops along the tour include cities such as Las Vegas, Denver, Phoenix and New Orleans. More information regarding tickets and upcoming tour dates is available on the artist’s web site.

12/2/14 - Eric Church honored country music legend Merle Haggard Tuesday night at the CMT Artists of the Year Awards. Church sang the legend’s “Workin’ Man Blues.” Haggard was given the first-ever Artist of a Lifetime award at the event. Church’s song “Pledge Allegiance to the Hag” paid homage to Haggard on the younger star’s 2006 debut album “Sinners Like Me.” It has since become a staple in Church’s shows. He is currently on tour promoting his latest album “The Outsiders,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts when it was released in February. His Outsiders World Tour is currently taking him across the south, but he will be heading west in mid-January. Tickets can be purchased for as little as $37 for some venues.
