12/5/14 - The winter tour of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s holiday-themed show is in full swing, much to the delight of fans of the stadium progressive rock band. With their signature pyrotechnics and laser and light shows, the band’s 2014 tour features “The Christmas Attic,” a rock opera that is part of a trilogy that the band has performed over the years. Fresh from their show in Toronto, Canada, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will perform next at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania, on December 4. They’ll follow that show by heading to the Allen County Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on December 5. Tickets for both shows are still available, with seats for their Pennsylvania show ranging from $29 to $86 and the Indiana show starting at $118.

11/25/14 - It’s time to get your Christmas on, with the perennial holiday favorite Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This year, the group performs “The Christmas Attic,” the third installment of a rock opera they have never performed before a live audience. The concert begins by telling the story of a young girl who discovers mischief and magic in her attic on Christmas Eve. As always, the show features lasers and other theatrical effects. TSO composer Paul O’Neill said the second half of the show includes favorites like “Wizards in Winter” and “Requiem.” The rock holiday-magic concert series runs through January and includes concerts on both sides of the U.S. TSO concerts are always popular and sell out quickly, so plan ahead. Depending on the venue, tickets start as low as $38.

11/21/14 - Combining a multitude of musical styles with stunning visual displays, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra heads to Utah, Idaho, and Washington for a series of performances including two performances in Seattle on November 22. The performances will be a full presentation of the Orchestra’s self-titled album. The album itself pays tribute to Beethoven’s last moments. Beethoven died after a long illness and legend says that he shook his fist in the air and proclaimed he would hear in heaven. Despite its name, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is an American group founded in 1996. The group grew in popularity after it began touring in 1999. Due to the group’s popularity, venues are selling out and tickets are going fast. Tickets for the November 19th performance in Salt Lake City begin at $56.

11/14/14 - There are people who enjoy going to rock concerts, while others may prefer going to concerts where classical music is being played. There are not many musical artists who have the ability to combine both types of music into something that the general population finds pleasing. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has managed to do just that. Fortunately for music lovers this incredible band is going to be on tour in 2014. They will be performing in different cities all across America. Individuals who purchase tickets to see live performances will have the chance to hear great music, and see an incredible visual performance. The concerts are infused with an incredible light show, and pyrotechnics. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the unique musical experience that this band provides everyone that has the chance to participate in one of their live concerts.

2013 Tour

Every year, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is one of the top holiday events based on the demand for tickets and sell-out crowds. In 2009, TSO was ranked as one of the Top 25 Touring Artists of the past decade by Billboard. The rock band will execute its final installment of their Christmas trilogy “Lost Christmas Eve” this season, traveling to more than 65 cities and performing more than 100 shows between November 13 and December 30. The first two albums of the trilogy were “Christmas Eve and Other Stories” and “The Christmas Attic”.

Known for their pyrotechnics, lasers, and synchronization of lighting with their performance, the band promises even more in 2013. Hit songs “Wizards in Winter”, “Christmas Nights in Blue” and “Siberian Sleigh Ride” among others will tell a tale “of loss and redemption.” The show and music will take fans on a journey into the inspiring world of creator and producer Paul O’Neill incorporating a run-down hotel, an old toy store, a blues bar, a Gothic cathedral as part of the set. Expect a surprise from the Flight Deck and new music in the second half of the show, in addition to live favorites from “Christmas Eve and Other Stories”. Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets average $113 this holiday season but the cheapest tickets are about $40.
