Rose Bowl

The whole process thru Razorgator was outstanding. From the ticket purchase, customer service and tail gate it was wonderful. My family really enjoyed the tailgate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. It was a great way to start the game. It was extremely convenient. We had attended the Parade that morning and didn't have time to stop for lunch prior to the game. The whole experience was unbelieveable. We look forward to our next Razorgator event!
Good Times at the Rose Bowl
stenata from Los Angeles, CA on January 2, 2008

Had a great time at the Rose Bow. No problems with the ordering process; the tickets arrived on time. The RazorGator tailgate was good (great hot dogs, good music, great beer). The seats were as good as promised (even better). Would definately use RazorGator again.
Great Time!

The best thing about this whole experience is that I received the best service ever from Vicki Vidischak at Razorgator, who helped me coordinate this entire event and saved me a lot of time and legwork. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, always professional and provided invaluable service! Thank you Vicki!!!
The Corporate Hospitality Village was a lot of fun, but we unfortunately were not able to enjoy it fully. The cost was high (approx. $195 p/p) and we were there for maybe an hour. As this was our first time, we didn't know what to expect. We realized later that we needed to go to our specific tent and after wandering for 10-15 minutes, found it. Food was nothing fancy, the typical chicken, starch & vegetable fanfare. Your servers were very friendly and accommodating. I had requested reserved tables earlier as we had approximately 20-25 guests (clients) attending. We found one table reserved that seated maybe 10 people. We had hoped to have everyone sit together.... especially for the price we paid for each ticket.
The grounds at the Corporate Hospitality Village was very fun. We were able to get t-shirts, play games, get spray on tattoos, get food & drinks and not have to reach for our wallets. Great for families, lots of stuff for the kids to do. My 14 year old daughter enjoyed it very much and was able to get a picture with Marcus Allen before he was whisked away (phew). The experience at the Hospitality Village, although very fun, could have been better if we knew what to expect beforehand. I might suggest that in the future, you have a greeter at the entrance to tell us: 1. That we need to go to the Razorgator tent, and 2. Direct us to it. We could have saved some time there.
Got to the Rose Bowl but could not find the entry designated for Razorgator so went through the common entrance. Stood in line for a little while, got in and stood in another line to the bathroom for about 15 minutes. Beer line was worse... thank goodness I don't drink beer. Good view from our seats, but the seating area is typically narrow and not easy for peope to get past you. Gorgeous view of the mountains in the background at sunset!
All in all, a very good experience. We would use your services again with Vicki's assistance. We will probably not participate in the Corporate Hospitality Village again because of the cost. Thanks!
Interesting Experience
paperangel on January 9, 2008

Attending the 2008 Rose Bowl Game and Tailgating was definitely an interesting experience. It was an enjoyable event, and being there in person is definitely something that I will remember! I believe that I was most impressed with was the organization of transportation to and from the game, and how quickly the long line moved onto the busses. I also really appreciate the RazorGator Corporate Tent and having an organized place to eat, etc. Thanks!
Suggestions for improvement:
Tickets - When I received the tickets and was that the face value was $135, and I paid $400+, I was truly astonished. I can't believe how the 50 yd line ticketholders felt! On top of that, we were "fortunate" enough to be sitting behind three slightly unruly young people who were using foul language, and completely disregarded any respect for other attendees. Unfortunately, we can't control who sit around us.
Entry into the stadium - this was a little claustrophobic; however, once inside the stadium, the crowd dissipated quickly.
We attended the game in person, just for the "Bowl Game" experience, not necessarily because we were big fans of either team. For the cost, we would probably not attend again unless we had a significant interest in one of the teams. We were glad that we attended once for the experience of it all!
Reviews 1-4 of 6 (See All)
  • What rows are above and below the tunnels at the stadium?
    • There are a total of 77 rows, with lettered rows being closest to the field and beginning after row 1. The tunnel enters the stadium at row 27.
  • How come in the same section you will see seats with low and high numbers?
    • When you enter the tunnel and are facing the field, the low numbered seats are to your left, starting with seat 1, and the high numbers are to the right, starting with number 101.
  • When can I expect delivery of my tickets?
    • We aim to deliver packages within two weeks of the event. It is often the case with high-profile events such as the Rose Bowl that tickets may not be available until the week of the event, and in some instances delivery may even be the day of the event.
  • Is the Rose Bowl game still a BCS bowl game?
    • The Rose Bowl is still part of the Bowl Championship Series. However, the Rose Bowl Game is not the BCS Championship Game. The site of that game will change between the four venues associated with the Bowl Championship Series, so it is quite possible the Rose Bowl will host both the Rose Bowl Game and the BCS Championship Game in the same season.
  • Getting to the Game
    • The major routes to the Rose Bowl are Rosemont Avenue, Seco Street and Arroyo Blvd. These streets can be accessed off the 134 or 210 freeways. It is highly recommended to not use Pasdena Freeway 110.
  • Parking Tips
    • Other than lots requiring a pass, parking is first-come, first-served. We recommend you approach the stadium from the north to save you time.

There are very good public transportation options to get you to the Rose Bowl. The Metro Gold Line offers a hassle-free option, and there is a Rose Bowl Game Shuttle from the corner of Holly Street and Fair Oaks Avenue right to the gates.

  • Tailgating
    • The Rose Bowl encourages tailgating before the event. You may tailgate in the area immediately around your vehicle. There are to be no open flames or individual tents set up.
  • Pre-Game Activities
    • We invite you to join us at our exclusive Hospitality Tent presented by PrimeSport. Located at Lot H next to Rose Bowl Stadium, this pre-game party offers a lunch buffet, drinks, interactive games, live entertainment, and meet and greet opportunities with former NCAA football players.
  • Fan Conduct
    • Please enjoy yourself at the Rose Bowl and be considerate of fans seated near you. Disruptive behavior may result in ejection from the stadium.
  • Venue Policies
    • There is no re-entry into the stadium if you decide to leave early.
