Reliant Stadium

Reliant Stadium is located in Houston, Texas. The venue is home to both the rodeo and football, as the stadium hosts the Houston Texans and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The stadium is part of Reliant Energy Complex. Reliant Stadium has a seating capacity of around 70,000 and has the ability to be rearranged, not only for a football game or a rodeo but also for soccer games, social functions, concerts and other large gatherings.

Featuring an indoor and outdoor retractable roof, there is over 120,000 square feet of space on and around the field. The roof can be changed to accommodate different designs and can support many types of audio and visual productions. The fabric of the roof and the clear glass areas in the concourses give fans a feeling as if there are no walls or roof. The field is made of natural grass which accommodates the rodeo and football quite easily. There are four concourse levels, over 7000 club seats and over 180 luxury suites. The stadium is one the largest indoor air-conditioned stadiums.

The Houston Texans played their first regular season game at Reliant Stadium on September 8, 2002 against the Dallas Cowboys. Beyond the north end zone is a bleacher section called the "Bull Pen.ö The fans in the Bull Pen are right next to the field and are asked to join in by singing and chanting when they attend an event and sit in these seats.
