Cowboys Look To Even Score In Philly Sunday

dallas-cowboys-tickets-2013

The Dallas Cowboys (9-4) look to avenge their Thanksgiving defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles (9-4) on Sunday Night Football. The winner will take sole possession of the NFC East race. Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray, and Dez Bryant lead an explosive Dallas offensive (9th ranked) into the hostile atmosphere at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The Dallas defense will face a staunch test from the high-powered Eagles offense. Chip Kelly’s offense has scored over 20 points in all but one game this season. At home the Eagles average 33-points per game. Moreover, the Dallas offense scores an average of 32 points per game on the road, so an offensive shootout may be in store for fans.

According to RazorGator, the average price for Eagles vs. Cowboys tickets is currently $306.79 on the secondary market, a 20% decrease in the last seven days. This may be due to the Eagles only mustering 14-points against Seattle last week at home. The get-in price for the game is $149.00.

The Dallas Cowboys hope their 3rd ranked ground attack will cause problems for the Eagles 18th ranked rushing defense. Look for Dallas to use the rushing attack to slow the game down and to combat the high-tempo, no-huddle offense Chip Kelly employs. DeMarco Murray currently has rushed for 1606 yards rushing, which is 499 yards under the NFL record set by Eric Dickerson. The Cowboys running back will have to average around 166 yards for each of the three remaining games to break the record. Meanwhile, Dez Bryant looks to add on to another impressive campaign at receiver (73 receptions, 1034 yards, and 10 TDs).

The last meeting between these two teams was a couple of weeks ago on Thanksgiving in Dallas. The Eagles handled the Cowboys early and won 33-10. LeSean McCoy exploded to 159 yards rushing and a touchdown; Jeremy Maclin went over 100 yards receiving, and Cody Parkey kicked four field goals. Tony Romo and the Cowboys offense were held in check by the Philadelphia defense, only mustering 267 yards, and turning the ball over three times. Murray was limited to 3.7 yards per carry and scored the lone Cowboys touchdown.

Sacramento Kings Tickets Start At Under $15

Sac Kings

Saturday night features a battle of two of the youngest teams in the NBA. The Sacramento Kings and the Detroit Pistons face off in Sacramento. However, it seems as if the young talent on both teams are on two different levels. The Sacramento Kings are 11-12, and have a ton of promising young talent. Although he is currently out indefinitely, center DeMarcus Cousins is tied for the league lead in rebounding average (12.6). Cousins gets help from Rudy Gay, who is having one of his best seasons in recent memory. He’s averaging 21.6 points per game, and has been distributing the ball better than he has ever had.

The Detroit Pistons are on a different talent level. They are 3-19, which is one of the worst records in the league. They have been inept offensively, as they are second to last in the NBA in points per game. Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond give this team a formidable frontcourt, but they have no one who can consistently put the ball in the basket. The pickup of Josh Smith from Atlanta has proven to be a huge waste of money, as he has been extremely underwhelming for Detroit.

According to RazorGator, the average price for Pistons vs. Sacramento Kings tickets is $56.53. Prices have decreased 31% in the past seven days, but that could be correlated to the loss of Cousins to meningitis. He is still out with the illness, and there is no timetable on his return. Without Cousins, this game looses a bit of national interest but with a Get-in of just $13 there’s still plenty of reasons to go.

Because Cousins is out, Sacramento is extremely exposed down low. I would expect Drummond and Monroe to beat the Kings up on the boards. Although the Pistons have been a bottom-feeder this entire season, I would expect them to be a thorn in Sacramento’s side for the entire game. This game is extremely important for Sacramento because these are the teams they need to beat while Cousins is inactive. If they cannot win against these teams, it will show that they are still behind the 8- ball in the Western Conference. Also, Detroit is trying to stay afloat and trying to have a respectable season. The Philadelphia 76ers are playing better basketball lately, and no team wants to have the NBA’s worst record, especially a proud organization like the Detroit Pistons.

Seahawks Tickets Are Most Expensive In NFL For Week 15 Meeting With 49ers

Seahawks-at-49ers-top-5-nfl-games-week-11

Once dubbed one of the best rivalries in recent years, this is a matchup that has certainly lost its significance in the past few weeks. The San Francisco 49ers (7-6) travel to Century Link Field to take on the Seattle Seahawks (9-4). The 49ers come into the game after giving Oakland its second win of the season, and speculation has run rampant about the future of Coach Jim Harbaugh’s job security. Colin Kaepernick leads the 24th ranked 49ers offense against the league’s top-ranked defense. The Seahawks defense looks to capitalize on an offense that has turned the ball over five times in the previous two weeks.

According to RazorGator, the average price for Seahawks vs. 49ers is currently $423.50 on the secondary market, a 13% decrease in the past seven days. The get-in price for the game is $185. The average price for Seahawks tickets for the remainder of the season is $379.83.

Seattle’s top-ranked rushing offense will face a stiff test from the 49ers seventh-best rush defense. Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch have combined for over 1,700 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns. San Francisco’s Frank Gore is having another decent year with around 700 yards rushing and a couple of touchdowns. The 49ers’ passing offense (27th) has been wildly erratic, with Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree getting the lion’s share of catches and targets.

The first meeting between these two teams resulted in a 19-3 victory for Seattle on Thanksgiving night at Levi’s Stadium. The 49ers offense left much to be desired after totaling 164 yards and turning the ball over three times. Colin Kaepernick finished the game with 100 yards passing and a completion percentage around 50%.

Furthermore, Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch sparked their team for 379 yards, 157 of which came on the ground. The game was your typical grinder, which this rivalry has become accustomed to. Wilson threw a touchdown to backup running back Robert Turbin, and Steven Hauschka kicked four field goals. The 49ers only managed one field goal.

New England Patriots Tickets Above Season Average For Miami

Patriots-Colts

The New England Patriots gladly welcome the Miami Dolphins to Gillette Stadium on Sunday with one thing in mind, revenge. Miami topped the Patriots 33-20 in Miami on week 1 of the season. This kicked off the Patriots’ 2-2 start, and started to raise questions of whether or not Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski could still play at a high level in the NFL.

Since that meeting, both teams have trended in slightly different directions. While both teams have playoff aspirations, the Patriots have gone on a tear. This team has gone 10-2 since their loss at Miami. Rob Gronkowski has been on an absolute tear, and is looking like his old 2011 self again. He has ten touchdowns on 73 catches for nearly 1,000 yards. He may be posing for pictures with kittens and boy-idols outside of football, but you can’t say anything negative about his production on the field.

Miami has been an improved bunch as well, but they are on a bit of a skid. They currently hold a 7-6 record, and sit on the outside looking into the playoff picture. After their 1-2 start, the team won 4 of their next 5 games. However, they are on a 2-3 skid during the toughest part of their schedule. This week may be their toughest test yet. According to RazorGator, the average price of Patriots tickets this season so far has been $213.02.

On average, fans are paying $220.61 for tickets to this game. Because this game could determine the fate of both teams, the get-in price is $79.00. Surprisingly, prices have dropped 20% in the past seven days, regardless of the fact that it could eliminate New England’s chances of having home field advantage throughout the entire playoffs.

Look for Miami’s third-ranked pass defense to pose a threat to Tom Brady’s lackluster receiving corps. Other than Gronkowski and receiver Julian Edelman, the Patriots lack a threat that you have to scheme around. If Miami can keep Gronk’s yards down below 75, and keep him out of the end zone, then they should have a chance at the upset.

This game is crucial for both teams. Not only is it a divisional matchup, there are major playoff implications riding on this game for both teams. New England needs to win to hold serve with Denver for the top seed in the AFC. The Dolphins could potentially be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss. Not to mention, these division rivals aren’t very big fans of each other. It should be a very fun game to watch on Sunday.

Previewing This Weeks Rams vs Cardinals Game

rams vs cardinals

The St. Louis Rams (6-7) host the Arizona Cardinals (10-3) at the Edward Jones Dome on Thursday Night Football. The Cardinals look to end their two game losing streak and hold on to the top seed in the NFC. The injuries of Carson Palmer and Andre Ellington have certainly hampered this offense’s ability to put points on the board. In the past four weeks, the Drew Stanton-led Cardinals have only managed four offensive touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Rams have allowed zero points in the last two weeks. A third consecutive shutout would break the record set by the 1976 Pittsburgh Steelers.

According to RazorGator, the average price for Rams vs. Cardinals tickets on the secondary market is currently $57.60, which represents an 18% decrease in the past seven days. The get-in price is $6.00, which may be due to the recent struggles of Arizona and the below .500 record of St. Louis. Moreover, the average price for the remaining games on Arizona’s schedule is $212.35.

Larry Fitzgerald is expected to suit up against the Rams on Thursday night after sitting out a couple games due to injury. The star receiver has posted 29 catches for 288 yards with three TDs in the last three meetings with St. Louis. Rams’ QB Shaun Hill comes into the game after playing his best football the past four games with 6 TDs and 2 INTs. Since Tre Mason cracked the starting lineup, the Rams have gone 5- 4 with two of those wins coming against Denver and Seattle. The Cardinals better be prepared for a Rams pass rush that has racked up 13 sacks in the last two games.

The previous early November meeting between these two teams resulted in a 31-14 Arizona win. The game is also notorious for Carson Palmer tearing his ACL in the fourth quarter. The game was close for three quarters until the injury sparked the Cardinals to a 21-point fourth quarter. Rams QB Austin Davis threw 2 INTs, both to Patrick Peterson. Peterson and Antonio Cromartie both registered defensive touchdowns. The Cardinals defense sacked St. Louis six times while the Rams got to the quarterback only three times. Drew Stanton threw a touchdown to John Brown after Palmer’s injury.

Despite Playing The Blackhawks, Ottawa Takes Top Spot For Priciest Bruins Ticket This Week

boston-bruins-stanley-cup-f

The Boston Bruins are currently in a dogfight in the Atlantic Division. They are battling the Detroit Red Wings, Tampa Bay Lightning, Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs for positioning in the division. The Bruins are currently on the outside of the standings, ranking fifth in the division. They have a hard week upcoming, but it could be one where they establish themselves once again. There is a chance the Bruins could see the return of David Krejci on Thursday. They could also see the return of their captain Zdeno Chara. He has been out of action since tearing a ligament in his knee on October 23rd.

12/11/14 vs Chicago Blackhawks | Avg. Price: $174.33 | Get-in Price: $68

In a battle of “Original Six” teams, the Blackhawks and Bruins will face off on Thursday night. The Blackhawks win on Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils was their 7th win in a row. They have been the best team in the NHL as of late. The game is going to be held in the TD Garden. Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are leading the team once again. With some big names possibly returning, the Bruins could really use a big win. Blackhawks vs. Bruins tickets are going for $174.33 on average, which is 16 % less than last week. To get in the door, it’s going to cost fans $68.00. Fans going to the game are awaiting the news of whether or not they will finally see Krejci and Chara back in the black and gold.

12/13/14 vs. Ottawa Senators | Avg. Price: $182.54 | Get-in Price: $84

In the easiest game of the week, the Ottawa Senators come into town. Having just fired their coach Paul MacLean. This inter-divisional rivalry isn’t what it used to be. The Senators don’t have much good to bring lately. They have lost seven of their last nine games. Defenseman Erik Karlsson has done his best trying to carry the team on his own. His efforts only produced an 11-11-5 record. Despite the bad team in the building, tickets are still going for an average of $182.54 per ticket. It’s also going to cost you $84.00 to get in the door. This is the one game of the week that the Bruins cannot afford to lose.

12/16/14 @ Nashville Predators | Avg. Price: $86.52 | Get-in Price: $13

The Nashville Predators have been surprisingly consistent this season. They are relying on Pekka Rinne and Shea Weber to lead them to 38 points in the standings, which is good for second in the Central Division. They will give the Bruins everything they can handle. Filip Foresberg is their biggest offensive threat. In his first full season with the Predators, he has 25 points in 26 games. This game could end up having important points for both these teams to grab. The average price of tickets is going for $85.52, but fans can get into the game for as little as $13. This trends up 2% from last week.

12/17/14 @ Minnesota Wild | Avg. Price: $171.75 | Get-in Price: $53

Zach Parise leads in the Minnesota Wild as they take on the Bruins on Tuesday night. While they have only played 26 games on the season, they find themselves back in the standings of the Central Division. Their 31 points are only good for fifth in the division. They will be looking to show they can beat a good team like the Bruins while they try to find their groove. Their power play has been a serious concern. They only score with a one-man advantage 11 percent of the time, which is the second worst number in the NHL. Luckily, they make up for it by having the second best penalty kill in the league, with their 89.5 conversion rate. The tickets for the game are going for an average of $171.75, with a get-in price of $53. That represents an 11% increase in the past 7 days.

Looking At The Celtics Week Ahead In Tickets

boston-celtics

Ever since they traded Kevin Garnett and Paul Peirce to the Brooklyn Nets, The has been in rebuilding mode. Boston is third in the Atlantic Division posting a record of 7 wins and 13 loses. Surprisingly, this team is much better than there record shows losing last minute games to playoff teams like Chicago, Dallas, Cleveland, Toronto and Washington. Rajon Rondo returned from a broken hand for the beginning of the season and hasn’t missed a beat. The surprise of this team has been the play of Jared Sullinger and Jeff Green. Green is averaging close to 20 points a game while Sullinger has taken his game to the next level, averaging 16 points and close to 9 rebounds a game. The defensive trio of rookie Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley and Rondo has been a nightmare for opposing teams. Smart, who suffered a gruesome injury four weeks ago, returned to action on December 8th and is fully healthy. Below we break down the Celtics the next four games that Boston will take part in.

12/10/14 @ Charlotte Hornets | Avg. Price: $ 78.21 | Get-in price: $9.00

The Hornets could be the biggest disappointment of this season. The Hornets had an impressive offseason that featured the signing of guard Lance Stevenson and drafting of forward Noah Vonleh. The Hornets have been plagued from awful shooting and injuries. Kemba Walker is shooting only 36% from the field. Look for the Celtics to exploit that and the lack of guard depth. The Celtics will have to find a way to defend all-star center Al Jefferson who has been a tear recently. Hornets vs. Celtics tickets are currently at an average price of $78.21 on the secondary market with a get-in price of $9.00. The price has decreased 23% in the past 7 days.

12/12/14- New York Knicks | Avg. Price: $ 68.45 | Get-in price: $20.00

While the Celtics have struggled to win games, the Knicks have been having all kinds of problems. This Knicks team has had a lot of trouble adopting to new coach Derek Fisher’s triangle offense. Carmelo Anthony and the resurrected Amare Stoudiemire are really the only ones that have played very well this year. Look for Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk to attack the Knicks interior as they lack legitimate rim protectors after Tyson Chandler was traded in the offseason. This game is at an average price of $68.45 on the secondary market with a get-in price of $20.00. This game has decreased 29% in the past seven days.

12/15/14 vs. Philadelphia 76ers | Avg. Price: $62.15 | Get-in price: $6.00

The 76ers are the worst team in the league. They had the second longest losing streak in NBA history when they lost 19 consecutive games. The 76ers have little to no legitimate talent on this team right now besides Michael Carter-Williams, Nerlens Noel and Tony Wroten. Philadelphia will really struggle to score against Boston. Fans are paying $62.15 to see this game, however, it only costs $6.00 to get into the stadium. This average price represents a 4% decrease from last week.

12/17/14 – Orlando Magic | Avg. Price: 43 | Get-in price: $10.00

This is a battle between two Atlantic Division rivals. This is the first time these two teams will see each other this year. The one major thing to monitor is the health of star center Nikola Vucevic who missed the previous four games with a strained back. Vucevic alongside breakout power forward Tobias Harris will wreak havoc against the undersized Celtics if they are on the floor together. Look for Celtic’s guards to attack Orlando’s suspect perimeter defenders. This is currently at an average price of $43.00 on the secondary market while the get-in price is $10.00. This game has decreased in price by 26% in the last 7 days. This is a matchup of two teams that may have the best young talent in the entire NBA.

Breaking Down The Indiana Pacers Week Ahead

Pacers-Jazz-tickets

The Indiana Pacers have played this season without their most talented player, Paul George, and are looking at a tough schedule in the week leading up. Roy Hibbert has had a resurgent season, and is playing up to all-star form so far, David West has returned to the lineup and brought some toughness, and has the Pacers playing with an edge. Chris Copeland has shown the scoring ability he did in New York, but all that can’t replace your best player, and that’s why the Pacers sit at 7-14 about a quarter of the way through the season.

12/10/14 vs. Los Angeles Clippers | Average Price: $50.20 | Get-In Price $3.00

Anytime the Clippers come into, they town bring some star power. Fans want to see the likes of Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan, but according to RazorGator, this game has the cheapest price of the week on the secondary market with an average price of $50.20 for Pacers tickets. With a get-in price of only $3.0, the Pacers could possibly sell out this game. They love their basketball inIndiana, and to see a team like the Clippers come in for prices that low is a treat.

12/12/14 @ Toronto Raptors | Average Price: $126.48 | Get In Price: $26.00

On this day one year ago the Raptors traded Rudy Gay to the Sacramento Kings, and what a turnaround it has been for them without him. The Raptors have had the best record in the eastern conference since trading him away. It should come as no surprise that this is the most expensive game of the week and at $126.48 on the secondary market. With a Get In price of $26.00 to see the team with the best record in the east is pretty solid deal.

12/13/14 vs. Portland Trail Blazers | Average Price: $60.81 | Get In Price: $7.00

On December 13th LaMarcus Aldridge and Damian Lillard bring their crew into Naptown to take on the Pacers in a showdown of really good big men. Aldridge will be putting his talents against the likes of Hibbert and West. To see that matchup up close and personal you’ll have to pay an average price of $60.81 on the secondary market, or you can get in on the cheap end with a get-in price of $7.00. Either way getting to see a matchup like this doesn’t come around often in today’s NBA.

12/15/14 vs. Los Angeles Lakers | Average Price: $80.71 | Get In Price: $6.00

Laker Nation is one that expands across the whole world. The Lakers really may be the most recognizable NBA franchise. With their history of great players and fans, they’ll definitely have fans that attend this game. It should come as no surprise that they have the second highest average price of the week at $80.71. The get in price, $6.00, depicts more of a picture of what they are now, down in the dumps. But the Laker brand will always carry weight, especially with a transcendent player like Kobe Bryant still on the roster.

12/17/14 @Los Angeles Clippers | Average Price: $80.67 | Get In Price: $8

The Pacers will be in Los Angeles this time, but to take on the star studded Clippers again. Blake Griffin and company will look to show the Pacers what “Lob City” is all about. This will be a battle in the frontcourt when Griffin and DeAndre Jordan test their mettle against the defensive duo of Hibbert and West. The Staples Center will always be an expensive venue, kind of like Madison Square Garden, so it comes as no surprise this game is averaged at $80.67 on the secondary market. The get-in price of only $8.00 is looking like a huge steal to see a team as entertaining as the Clippers.
