AFC teams face off in lead-up to Super Bowl

NFL AFC Tickets

With football season upon us, Razorgator has tickets to both AFC and NFC games in the lead-up to the Super Bowl. Here is a run-down of the American Football Conference teams playing in the coming weeks.

Some tickets run extremely cheap. Do you want to see the Kansas City Chiefs play the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri on August 13? Tickets for that game start as low as $5. Even some sideline seats and club seating are in the $90-range.

Buffalo Bills Tickets Ralph Wilson Stadium Buffalo, NY
Miami Dolphins Tickets Sun Life Stadium Miami, FL
New England Patriots Tickets Gillette Stadium Foxborough, MA
New York Jets Tickets MetLife Stadium East Rutherford, NJ

Some things to be on the look-out for. According to CheatSheet, the New York Jets have a tough line-up.

“Outside of having to play the New England Patriots twice, the Jets will also have to deal with four short weeks; back-to-back road games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals; a brutal five-game stretch of games against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seattle Seahawks, the Steelers, the Cardinals, and the Baltimore Ravens; and a season-opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. Based off of this schedule, we have a difficult time envisioning ‘Gang Green’ landing a spot in the AFC Playoffs in 2016.”

Houston Texans Tickets NRG Stadium Houston, TX
Indianapolis Colts Tickets Lucas Oil Stadium Indianapolis, IN
Jacksonville Jaguars Tickets EverBank Field Jacksonville, FL
Tennessee Titans Tickets Nissan Stadium Nashville, TN

The Jets play the Patriots at MetLife Stadium on November 27 with tickets starting at $82 ranging all the way up to the roughly $1,000-range for field-side seats.

ESPN adds, “Until the Jets get their quarterback situation resolved, it’s hard to predict a winning season.”

The Jets are currently at a contract stalemate with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.

“This is a tougher schedule than last season’s, as they face the defensive-minded NFC West. After overachieving last season at 10-6, they’re due for a market correction,” ESPN’s Rick Cimini predicts for the team. Ouch.

In contrast ESPN predicts the Cincinnati Bengals will have a good year.

“Do the Bengals really have a fifth consecutive double-digit win total in them? It appears so,” writes Corey Harvey.

AFC North Team Tickets 2016 Venue City
Baltimore Ravens Tickets M&T Bank Stadium Baltimore, MD
Cincinnati Bengals Tickets Paul Brown Stadium Cincinnati, OH
Cleveland Browns Tickets FirstEnergy Stadium Cleveland, OH
Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets Heinz Field Pittsburgh, PA

Bengals vs the Minnesota Vikings tickets start at the low price of $13 for an August 12 game at Paul Brown Stadium, with even lower-level sideline tickets available in the $50-range. They’ll be playing the Colts, Broncos, Dolphins, Browns, Redskins, Bills, Eagles, Steelers and Ravens at their home stadium up till January 1, where tickets range from $41 to $597.

It’s the game with the Pittsburgh Steelers that CBS Sports has on their list of must-watch games. The last time these two teams went at each other, the game was “marred by controversy, late hits, penalties, and plenty of pushing and shoving… They are two good teams who don’t need it. Just play football.”

Yahoo Sports agrees with that sentiment, and seconds CBS in anticipating the game.

“In general,” Yahoo reports, “we’re all in favor of the officials letting the players play, but this one might need famed boxing ref Mills Lane to come out of retirement to keep things from getting out of hand.”
