This Sunday the Seattle Seahawks will host the Dallas Cowboys at CenturyLink Field in a matchup between two of the top rushing teams in the league. The Cowboys are second in the league in rushing behind Seattle as the Seahawks will look to slow down DeMarco Murray who comes into this game with 670 yards rushing and five touchdowns, making him just the third running back in history along with Jim Brown and O.J. Simpson to rush for at least 100 yards in his first five games. The Cowboys are seeking their fifth straight win, a feat they haven’t accomplished since 2007.
According to Razorgator, Seattle Seahawks vs Dallas Cowboys tickets for this game have a current average price of $348.92 on the secondary market with a get-in price of $149, just below the average price for Seahawks tickets this season and way down from its average of $505 back in June.
Both of these teams are in competitive divisions with the Seahawks currently tied for first in the NFC West with Arizona, as the Cowboys are tied with Philadelphia for first in the NFC East.
While the Cowboys running game has been lights out, Seattle leads the league in rushing at 167.3 rush yards per game behind a bruising running style from Marshawn Lynch who has rushed for 306 yards this season and quarterback Russell Wilson who became just the second QB to have two career games of over 200 yards passing and over 100 yards rushing.
It’ll will be interesting to see if DeMarco Murray will have any success against Seattle who have been limiting opponents to just 62.3 yards per game as the Legion of Boom has not yet displayed their defensive form from last season.
Another matchup that is getting a lot of attention is between cornerback Richard Sherman and wide receiver Dez Bryant as Sherman, who led the league interceptions last season, has no picks so far this year.
