One Direction Tickets 2014 – Where We Are Tour

Unimpressed Queen of England Likes One Direction
The boys from UK sensation One Direction are set to sell out stadiums across the country on their worldwide 2014 Where We Are Tour. A couple of months after their highly successful Take Me Home Tour, the lads released their third studio album Midnight Memories, and unveiled the North American dates for the band’s third headlining tour. The global sensations will be hitting major stadiums across the United States and Canada next summer, so there will be nowhere to hide from the boy band frenzy when Harry, Niall, Zayn, Liam and Louis invade a city near you!

One Direction Tickets 2014 – Ticket Price

Average One Direction tickets run from $251 – $533 for their North American leg, a sharp decrease compared to 1D’s super pricey, 41-date best-selling tour earlier this summer. Still, the demand for 1D’s 2014 tour has been so high that the boys were compelled to add extra dates in a number of cities, including Toronto, New Jersey, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Charlotte. The demand for 1D seats in these cities are high: One Direction Los Angeles tickets are just 2% more expensive for their second night, but in Toronto and Charlotte, prices shoot up nearly 26-30% for their bonus stay. The most expensive night comes in Tulsa Oklahoma, boasting $533 on average and $171 to get-in, followed by their first night in New Jersey, for $429 on average.

Cheap One Direction Tickets 2014

2014 is looking like a great year to be a One Direction fan, as concert tickets are far more affordable this time around. Their early 2013 tour averaged $650, but tickets for Where We Are average about half that amount, and they have already dropped in price significantly. When tickets for Where We Are first went on sale they averaged a whopping $704, but since then, overall 2014 prices have lowered to $353 on average. The cheapest tickets in the country can be found in New Orleans for $50 in the Terrace Level and on the quintet’s final U.S. date in Miami for $51 in the Upper Level. The most affordable nights are in Houston for $255 and in St. Louis for $251 on average.

If you’re in a city that 1D will visit twice, tickets are generally more expensive on the second date. Only two cities saw a decrease in price: Charlotte’s minimum price lowers from $99 to $80, while New Jersey’s ticket average drops 8.8% from $429 to $391 for their final night in the Garden State. All other cities jump up for One Direction’s encore shows, so snag cheaper tickets for their first nights while you can!

One Direction Tour Dates 2014 – Where We Are Tour Dates

Initially, the boys were supposed to play just 21 dates on their North American leg, but because demand is through the roof, One Direction added 6 extra stops for cities with the most eager Directioners, totaling their string of tour dates to 27. 1D will kick off their arena tour on August 1 at Rogers Center in Toronto and will subsequently travel down the East Coast: hitting New Jersey and Boston (2 nights each), Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia. From there, 1D will snake around the Midwest (Detroit to Houston and Chicago), and journey to Los Angeles (2 nights), Phoenix and El Paso, before trekking to Southern cities and finally closing out their tour in Miami on October 5.

One Direction News 2014

One Direction has been cover-page worthy since they first exploded on the music scene. But instead of romantic affairs (a la Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato), 1D made headlines for a much bigger deal: Midnight Memories released in November at the top of the charts, making them the first band ever to have their first three albums consecutively debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200. The biggest boy band on the planet seems unstoppable, and they’ve certainly made enough Memories to last them a lifetime in 2013, here’s what they’ve been up to recently:

One Direction Music 2014

The boys from One Direction made their latest album with the intention of creating music that would sound just as good humming along in your car, as it would when they’re belting out on stage in a huge stadium. Billboard Magazine and the LA Times rave the album gives off a “rowdier more guitar-oriented sound than One Direction’s previous efforts.” Take your pick: whether it’s the Mumford & Sons power-folk inspired “Story of My Life” and “Happily,” the raucously rocking “Little Black Dress,” lovelorn Maroon 5-esque ballad “Right Now” or bubblegum pop anthem “Best Song Ever,” Midnight Memories is a hit no matter what track you play.

About One Direction

The boy band craze is alive and well. The United Kingdom has given us the gift of pure pop goodness with the boys of One Direction. This supergroup was formed when all 5 members auditioned individually for UK’s X Factor in 2010. Judges suggested they form a group to compete, and they ended up taking 3rd. The band consists of Niall Horan (18), Zayn Malik (19), Liam Payne (18), Harry Styles (18), and Louis Tomlinson (20). Their debut album was on March 13, featuring the chart-topping single “What Makes You Beautiful”. A tour with Big Time Rush has gained them plenty of attention, and they have developed a solid and crazed fan base among teenage girls and pop music lovers. They count fellow teen pop icons such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and Demi Lovato as friends and fans.
