We take a look at which teams have the priciest and cheapest division series tickets. Plus we’ll give you a price breakdown for each of the potential five games in each series.
Update (10-3): While the average price of a Division Series game has not moved much since Tuesday, prices per team have in some cases. NLDS Pirates tickets are down 13% in the last 24 hours but remain the most expensive team in this round of the MLB Playoffs. The cheapest team is now the Detroit Tigers; Tigers tickets are just cents under the average Cardinals tickets.

NLDS Tickets – Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Regular Season Record: Atlanta 5, LA 2
(10-1): This matchup begins Thursday and with the teams already set, ticket prices for the series won’t change much heading into Game 1. The potential 5-game series, in which the Braves will have home field advantage, is averaging $128. Atlanta Braves tickets for games 1, 2, and 5 (if nec.) at Turner Field average $121 while Los Angeles Dodgers tickets for games 3 and 4 (if nec.) at Dodger Stadium are $136.
Update (10-3): The average price of NLDS tickets between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers is $145, up $17 since Tuesday. Games 1 and 5 in Atlanta have seen a drop in both average price and get-in price, while Games 2, 3, and 4 have all seen an increase.

NLDS Tickets – St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
(10/1): Following tonight’s NL Wild Card game between the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates, we will get a better sense as to how this NLDS will look. Right now, if the St. Louis Cardinals were to matchup against the Cincinnati Reds, NLDS tickets are averaging an affordable $122. However, if St. Louis finds themselves pitted against the Pittsburgh Pirates, NLDS tickets look to be more costly at an average price of $237. Of the playoff teams who have secured a spot in the Division Series, St. Louis Cardinals have the cheapest priced ticket averaging $90 at Busch Stadium. The Cards will have home-field advantage in this one, which means that the average is calculated for games 1, 2, and 5 (if nec.).
Update (10/2): The Pirates defeated the Reds 6-2 in last night’s NL Wild Card game and advanced to the NLDS where they’ll matchup against the Cardinals. Prices in the below chart have been updated. Both Pirates tickets and Cardinals tickets fell slightly since yesterday; surprisingly Pittsburgh Pirates tickets are still pricey at 5-times the cost of St. Louis Cardinals tickets.
Update (10/3): The average price of NLDS tickets between the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates is $224. While it will cost St. Louis fans $18 to get into their first home game, it will cost Pittsburgh fans $142.

ALDS Tickets – Oakland Athletics vs. Detroit Tigers

(10-1): Both American League Division series begin Friday with Game 1 of this particular series between the A’s and Tigers being played in Oakland. Currently, this Division Series matchup is the cheapest of the four averaging just $108 on the secondary market. Oakland Athletics tickets for games 1, 2, and 5 (if nec.) are averaging $135 and Detroit Tigers tickets for games 3 and 4 (if nec.) are $95, second cheapest among the potential 10 division series teams.
Update (10-3): ALDS tickets for the Oakland Athletics and Detroit Tigers are the cheapest this round; averaging $101 on the secondary market, you can get into every game for under $50. In fact, every game in this series has seen a fall in average price since Tuesday.

ALDS Tickets – Boston Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays
(10-1): After the Cleveland Indians and Tampa Bay Rays play each other in tomorrow’s AL Wild Card game, we will have a better grasp as to how much it will cost to get into each game of this ALDS. The Red Sox will host the winner of the Wild Card game at Fenway Park Friday for Game 1 as Boston has home field advantage in this series. Of the playoff teams who have advanced to a division series, Boston Red Sox tickets are the most expensive averaging $299. If the Red Sox were to play the Indians, fans will pay an average $263 to a see a game in the series with games 3 and 4 (if nec.) at Progressive Field currently priced at $171 and $199 respectively. Should the Red Sox play the Rays in this ALDS, the average ticket price is $244 with games 3 and 4 (if nec.) at Tropicana Field priced at $133 and $138 in that order.
Update (10-3): The Rays have not been home since September 23 but continue to play well on the road. Last night, Tampa Bay clinched a division series berth after defeating Cleveland in the AL Wild Card game. ALDS tickets between the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays are averaging $236 in all. Aside from Game 5 in Boston (where prices haven’t changed), every game in this series has seen a drop in average price since Tuesday.
