Cher Announces Tour in Support of New Album

Cher’s 26th album Closer To The Truth arrived in stores today. The “Goddess of Pop” will tour in support of the album, hopping on the road for the first time since 2005 when Living Proof: The Farewell Tour ended. Since, Cher has been performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as part of a residency that totaled three years.

Dubbed the “World’s Number One Pop Icon” by AEG Live, Cher announced her upcoming tour on the Today Show after arriving at Rockefeller Center on a NYPD motorcycle. On location, she performed two songs from her new album “Woman’s World” and “I Hope You Find It”. Expect both to be on Cher’s set list for the tour.

Cher’s Dressed to Kill World Tour will be the Grammy award winner’s eighth concert tour and will begin March 22, 2014 at US Airways Center in Phoenix. The first leg concludes in San Diego at Valley View Casino Center on July 11 after 49 shows in North America. The most expensive Cher concert on the secondary market will be played at Barclays Center (5/9) and is averaging $290. The legendary singer will play her hometown of Los Angeles at the Staples Center (7/7) in the third most expensive show of the first leg. Overall, Cher tickets range from $85 – $520.
