Its been reported that Spears will earn an estimated $310,000 per show, for a total of over $30 million for the over the two years.
The show, titled “Piece of Me”, is expected to draw heavily from Britney’s long catalog of hits, but also include new music. Despite the hype surrounding the announcement of her residency, Britney’s tickets are relatively affordable compared to the other top Vegas acts. The modest prices may stem from uncertainty regarding details of the performance, but more likely are dictated by the relatively young age of Briney fans. The highest-priced show features Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and is almost twice as expensive as “Piece of Me”. Its also interesting to point out that Caesars is the home to four of the top ten residencies. With Planet Hollywood investing so much in Britney’s show, it will be interesting to see if the up-and-coming hotel adds more talent to its roster.
