November Sports Tickets – Categories

November marks the beginning of MLS Playoffs and College basketball season in addition to NFL Divisional play and the CFL Grey Cup. A seat to see a Major League Soccer post season game will cost you, on average, $87; however tickets are selling as low as $16. Last year’s Championship teams, the Los Angeles Galaxy and Houston Dynamo, have both advanced in the playoffs with wins in their respective Knockout Rounds. College basketball season kicks off this month; and although Conference play doesn’t start for another two months, it’s a good time to see your team play at a more affordable price. The NFL is in the heart of their season and most teams are facing off against Division rivals. Playoff berths are at stake and excitement is peaking.

The top five sporting events to see in November, based on the average ticket price and available inventory, are the US Grand Prix (F1), CFL Grey Cup, New York Giants, Duke Basketball, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Grand Prix in Austin is the penultimate round in the Formula One 2012 season. There are GA tickets available for $18 on Friday; however, an all-weekend GA ticket will cost you $293 at the cheapest. If you live in Canada, chances are you know about the Grey Cup (one of Canadian television’s largest annual sporting events). The 2012 football game will be played in Toronto and the Lord Earl Grey’s trophy will be presented for the 100th time. Staying with the topic of football, the New York Giants are the third most popular sporting event in November. With two high profile games at MetLife Stadium this month against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers, Giants fans will have a lot to cheer for. The New York Giants are currently the only winning team in the NFC East.
