After last night’s Giants win over the Tigers in Game 1 of the World Series, tickets for Games 3, 4, and 5 in Detroit have dropped while tickets for tonight’s Game 2 in San Francisco have increased. Prices for tonight’s Game 2 have gone up in price (on average) by 16 percent ($128 per ticket). The cheapest ticket tonight is going for $496 (View Level), up about $165 for a similar seat last night.
Like Karl Henkel predicted yesterday in the Detroit News, prices for Detroit home games fell after the Tigers lost a game. World Series Game 3 prices in Detroit are down 7 percent, World Series Game 4 down 3 percent and World Series Game 5 down 2 percent. Should the Tigers win tonight in San Francisco, expect prices to increase before the Tigers head home.
