New York Jets Tickets 2012

The New York Jets have made a lot of noise this off-season with the addition of Tim Tebow to the roster. Rex Ryan is relatively quiet this year–no promises of a Super Bowl ring have been made yet by the head coach. However, when asked about the New England Patriots, Ryan seemed adamant about the fact that the New York Jets will not just concede the AFC East to the Patriots.

Mark Sanchez will lead the New York Jets offense this season, just maybe not once the Jets make it to the red zone. The big question of how the Jets will use Tebow is slowly being answered throughout training camp, with Tebow being utilized in short yardage and red zone situations. The even bigger question of how Mark Sanchez will handle this is also being answered, as the pre-season continues. When asked how he feels about being subbed out in goal line situations Sanchez said “We got to get it in the end zone. I don’t care.” Only time will tell if Sanchez really means this, or if he is just keeping the New York press hushed for now.

New York Jets 2012 Tickets

New York Jets tickets will be hot in 2012, after the Jets trade for Tim Tebow in the off-season. Towards the back half of the season, when the playoff race heats up, NY Jets tickets will be a necessity for any Jets fan, as Tebow’s magic could very well be the secret recipe to success for the Jets. Jets Roster 2012

The NY Jets roster has stayed relatively the same this season, with many returning stars, such as corner backs Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie. The return of starting quarterback Mark Sanchez and number one wide receiver Santonio Holmes will also be something for Jets fans to also look forward to. About the New York Jets

In 1968 the Jets got their first playoff berth and rode it all the way to Super Bowl III, falling just short of a Super Bowl championship to the Baltimore Colts. The Jets have now been to the Playoffs thirteen times and the AFC championship game four times, most recently being led to the AFC championship by Mark Sanchez, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in their most recent attempt. The Jets have had Hall of Famers Ronnie Lott, Curtis Martin, and Broadway Joe Namath, some of the greatest football players of all time grace the National Football League in New York Jet Jerseys.

[...] 2012 New York Jets tickets at MetLife Stadium averaged $228 (recorded April 2012, after Tim Tebow signed with the team) on the secondary market, one of the top 10 most expensive NFL tickets by team that year. In 2013, New York Jets tickets are down just $3 on average but have dropped to thirteenth most expensive in the League. Since April 23 of this year, NY Jets tickets have tumbled from $388 to $225 in 3 short months. Since that time, the effects of the trade of CB Darrelle Revis have settled, the Jets selected Geno Smith in the second round of the NFL Draft, Tim Tebow signed with the New England Patriots, and the controversy over who will be the starting quarterback for the Jets this season has heightened. A combination of those factors has led to a decline in demand for Jets tickets. In case you are wondering, despite Tim Tebow’s popularity, his signing had little to no effect on Patriots tickets prices. [...]
