Top Ten Tickets in Chicago for the Week of June 25

Music lovers in Chicago will have something to do this weekend, as seven of the top ten events on the list are music concerts, and a Beatles tribute show. Chicagoans will be glad to know that these have average ticket prices under $200.

Sports fans aren’t left out with the struggling Chicago Cubs looking to get some wins at Wrigley. Chicago Cubs tickets sell on average for $96. Watch as the Cubs play at home against the New York Mets, and struggling central division team the Houston Astros.

The oldest outdoor music festival, the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park will feature a large number of musical acts, including: Sarah McLachlan, Gavin Degraw, and Glen Campbell headlining different nights. 

Singer-songwriter fans in Chicago, who can’t make it to the Ravinia Festival, still have a chance to watch other singer-songwriters. Gary Allan tickets sell for $76 on average. The country singer-songwriter will perform at Toyota Park this Saturday. Chicagoans who want to get out of the city should head down south to Margaritaville. Jimmy Buffett tickets sell for $153 on average for his show at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park.

Rock fans aren’t left out this week in Chicago. Windy City is about to be rocked like a hurricane when 80s rock legends the Scorpions come to the Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island. Chicago is just one stop on the band’s Final Sting Tour 2012. The Second City’s own Ministry will also play a couple shows this weekend at the Vic Theatre. Purchase your Ministry tickets today, before the band heads for its European tour this summer.

Those looking to take in some theatre, but on a large scale will be glad to know that the Cirque du Soleil-Dralion arena tour will make a stop at the United Center. The show has been described as a mix of eastern and western contemporary circus acts and a visual spectacular. Cirque du Soleil-Dralion tickets sell for $146. Chicago should expect some rain this weekend. Rain: The Beatles Experience is coming to the Ford Center for the Performing Arts as part of its national tour. Enjoy classic Beatles hits, with Rain: The Beatles Experience tickets selling for $101 on average.
