Derrick Rose tore his ACL in the final minutes of the Bulls Game 1 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at the United Center, and he’ll miss the rest of the 2012 NBA playoffs. The Bulls have proven all season that they can win without Rose (18-9), including wins over six of the seven other Eastern Conference playoff teams: Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers.

Although Bulls fans express optimism, Bulls playoff ticket prices have fallen after Rose’s season-ending injury:

  • Average prices of potential Eastern Conference Quarters Games 5 and 7 in Chicago are down 3% ($7 per ticket)
  • Average prices of potential Eastern Conference Semis Games in Chicago are down 11% ($18 per ticket)
  • Average prices of potential Eastern Conference Finals and NBA Finals Games in Chicago haven’t yet changed.
