Fresh off her halftime performance at Super Bowl XLVI, Madonna today announced the details of a massive world tour, which will see the Material Girl spending nearly seven months entertaining audiences in support of her new album, MDNA.
Tour dates begin in late May, starting in Israel and the Middle East, then working west and north through Europe in June and July, before bouncing around through eastern and central Europe in early August.
Madonna will arrive in North America in late August, with this leg of her tour starting in Philadelphia on August 28. From there, she will head north to performances in Montreal and Quebec City, then bounce back into the U.S. for shows in Boston, and New York’s Yankee Stadium.
She then heads back into Canada for two more appearances (Ottawa and Toronto), then once again crosses back into the U.S. for dates in Atlantic City, Chicago and Washington, DC before skipping clear across the continent to Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest, working her way down the Pacific coast to Los Angeles in early October.
Cutting back inland to Las Vegas and Phoenix in mid-October, Madonna will head east through a pair of Texas dates and New Orleans, before heading north into the Central and Midwestern U.S. in November. Her final dates as so far announced will be in the Southeast in late November.
