Good news Peyton Manning fans. According to ESPN, doctors have cleared Peyton Manning resulting him to resume his NFL career. So with his exit from Indy looking inevitable, what does this mean for the four-time MVP?
Manning and Colts owner, Jim Isray, are expected to sit down after the Super Bowl to discuss his future with the Colts. Manning is going to have a $28 million option bonus before the 2011 season and if the Colts do not exercise that option, they would release the quarterback to free agency. The Colts are not expected to trade their No. 1 draft pick, in which they hope to secure Andrew Luck from Stanford. The Colts also aren’t likely to trade Manning either according to ESPN.
So what are the rumors surrounding Peyton Manning?
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Miami Dolphins will look to aggressively pursue Manning as a free agent. Among the other teams that are interested in Peyton are the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, and the Washington Redskins.
